Crystalline, not Chrstaline. Ether, not either. Also, did he say the right spell name? Shouldn’t it be Scio? I believe that’s the one he’s been using as a scanner.

The spell though is correct. It might be badly introduced like this, but the Malkovis spell is the fourth Level of the Scio Spell family (introduced in the Spellbook). While Scio is used to analyze normal stuff, Malkovis is used to analyze magic and magic infused things. (The third level spell of will also be used in this Chapter: It’s called Repis and is used to detect/uncover magic in the area.)
